Visiting the Blue Mountains without stopping by Josophan’s Fine Chocolate would be a real miss. On a freezing cold day, we felt invigorated by their high-quality Belgian hot chocolate. It was just what we needed to warm up and boost our energy.

Walking around the store, we were impressed by the large selection and beautiful variety of chocolate products. They offer all kinds of chocolate, from white to dark to ruby, catering to every preference. Although I’m not usually a fan of chocolate, this place is an exception that I just had to try. My favourite is the custom handmade chocolates—they are so unique and beautifully crafted.

The prices are incredibly reasonable. Eight years ago, a piece was $2.50 (if my memory serves me right), and now it’s only $2.60. It’s incredible that despite the cost-of-living crisis, they still maintain their quality without overcharging customers.

Josophan's makes very delicious ice cream . The flavors are creative and packed with flavor, and the texture is smooth and creamy. My personal favorites are the salted caramel.

The one downside is that Josophan's is incredibly popular, so there is often a long line out the door, even on winter days. But the wait is absolutely worth it for the quality of the ice cream.

As soon as we stepped into the shop, the rich aroma of chocolate enveloped us, and I immediately thought of a comforting cup of hot chocolate. We were delighted to find that they offered it on the menu! We ordered a medium size for AUD 6.50.

This hot chocolate is incredibly rich—it's like they packed two entire 3-in-1 Milo sachets into this small cup! - just kidding!

"Every time I go to the Blue Mountains, I usually visit Josophan’s Fine Chocolates. It's my favorite spot, and they have the best chocolate beans. I highly recommend the hot chocolate over the gelato! It's a small place with some interesting and beautiful decorations. Their products easily catch our eyes, and I always want to try everything.

This chocolate shop is an old chapel, displaying and selling Belgian chocolates and local honey. This is a popular destination with tourists thanks to its beautiful little chocolate packages. I often pop in here after buying an ice cream from outside this store.
